About Kiteloft

Kiteloft is located in Barrie, a one hour drive north of Toronto on beautiful lake Simcoe in Ontario, Canada.

Kiteloft offers snowkiting lessons, professional kite and paraglider repair and sells various traction kiting equipment.

Kiteloft was established in 2006 and is solely owned and operated by kite enthusiast Lenka Cernova-Cerrato. Lenka has gained vast experience in instructing and equipment repair in her previous business, Air Vision Adventures, paragliding school, Ltd. that she co-owned and operated for more than 10 years. During her time running AVA, Lenka coordinated many adventure trips around the world, taking her customers and friends exploring different skies in countries such as Cuba, Dominican Republic, Barbados, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria etc. She was also the first female to achieve a Senior Paragliding Instructor status in Canada. In 2004 she replaced her long time hobby paragliding with a new passion, traction kiting and in 2006 decided to open a new company Kiteloft

Although no longer actively involved in paragliding, Lenka is an avid year-round kiter. She has been gathering kiting experience by taking part in various winter kite sailing events, including WISSA (World Ice Sailing Championships) where she placed second in females in y.2004, second again in y.2006 and finally first in y.2008!
